FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANDOWN, N.H. – Merrimack Valley Roofing and Gutters LLC is emphasizing the importance of OSHA safety training and disciplined job-site practices for residential and commercial roofing projects.

Roofing is physically demanding work involving ladders, fall exposure, tools, materials, weather, and active job sites around homes and businesses. OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour safety training programs are recognized ways for workers and supervisors to build awareness of common safety and health hazards.

Recent documentation reviewed for the company includes a private Hydraulic Hoisting Operator Certification issued to Barry James for class 1C boom and telescoping hydraulic lift equipment, certification number MVR-1C-2026-001, issued May 29, 2026 and expiring in 2028. The document states that it is a private operator proficiency certification and not a State of New Hampshire issued hoisting license.

“A clean, organized, safety-aware job site protects the crew and the homeowner,” said Barry James. “The best roofers take safety seriously because roofing is not casual work.”

Merrimack Valley Roofing encourages homeowners to ask contractors about safety practices, insurance, supervision, cleanup, material staging, and how the crew protects landscaping, gutters, siding, and driveway areas during a roofing project.
